If there is a lip on the bottom of the cabinet
If it is small (1/8" or less), cut some thick paper material like milk cartons into strips to act a shims. Loosen the screws and slide in enough of these spacers to elevate the front end of the guides so they line up with the lip of the cabinet. If there is a large lip, you will probably need to nail in some strips of wood the right thickness to elevate the guides to the height of the front lip of the cabinet. An old yardstick may work.
If the shelf hits the door
Angle the guides and leave a gap at the front edge or use some material (an old yard stick or scrap wood) to make a spacer to move the guide away from the cabinet edge. If there is only a minor interference, use a sharp knife and shave the corner off the door.
If the shelf is too wide
Trim the straight edge (a jointer or table-saw work best) and round the corner. Use a knife, (with care) as a scraper to de-bur the edges you have cut. If it is too long, give us a call and we will talk you through the process. (800) 803-1284
